LOVE FOR THE CHILD ASSOCIATION (LOCA)
Love for the Child Association is a registered non-profit charity based organization aiming at improving the lives of the less fortunate members of our society by offering full secondary school education scholarships, mentorship programs, and donation of basic necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter, among others.
LOCA holds its home visits after every one month, that is 6 times in a year.
LOCA was started on 16th May, 2015 by a team of young people passionate about community work who promised to join hands and change the society positively by impacting the underprivileged members of the society.
The team has grown ever since from 30 to 190 registered members and around 200 supporters.

Love
With love as a pillar, it helps to the realization and to the achievement of our objective with passion by visiting the vulnerable in the society, encouraging them in spoken words, action and written form.
God being our guide, we believe it’s our responsibility to take care of our brothers and sisters who are in need.
Unity
LOCA as an organization honors the organizational unity, inter-connectedness, alignment, collaborative community and shared purpose. We practice and champion inclusiveness in our community. We honor diverse strengths, needs, voices, and backgrounds of all the members of our community.
Service
LOCA aims at touching the lives of many, therefore there is a need for sacrifices and service to those who need us.
We offer guidance and counselling, motivational talks, cooking, feeding programs on the planned visits to children’s homes and rescue centres.
These programs have played a very big impact in the society by changing the attitudes of people to coming together.
